Two men have been granted police bail after their arrest for allegedly assaulting an army brigadier and his son in Vasant Enclave, southwest Delhi, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

The suspects, Satender alias Sonu, an aviation director, and Sanjay Sharma, a dhaba owner, were apprehended following a heated altercation on April 11. This dispute reportedly started over the consumption of alcohol in a parked car outside the brigadier's residence. When more people gathered, the confrontation allegedly escalated into a physical assault, accompanied by threats against the officer's family.

The case, under investigation by local police, involved the filing of an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Officials continue to identify and question all parties involved, utilizing available video evidence.
