Tragedy in Welcome: Husband Confesses to Strangling Wife

A 28-year-old man, identified as Deepak, has confessed to allegedly strangling his wife in the Welcome area of northeast Delhi, according to a police officer.

Deepak surrendered at the Welcome police station, reporting the crime, which prompted officers to visit his residence. There, they discovered his 23-year-old wife lying lifeless on the floor.

She was rushed to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. The woman's body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and police have initiated a case. Forensic and crime teams are investigating all possible aspects, including past domestic disputes. Deepak is currently in custody undergoing interrogation.
