Renewed violence rocked southern Lebanon on Sunday as Israeli strikes resulted in 14 fatalities and injured 37 others, according to Lebanon's health ministry. This occurred amid an already fragile ceasefire in the region.
Casualties included women and children, and an Israeli soldier was among the dead as both sides launched mutual accusations of ceasefire violations. Israel reported that its forces targeted Hezbollah fighters and military assets as tensions flared anew.
