UP: Road crash leaves four members of wedding party dead
A van carrying a wedding party collided head-on with a gravel-laden truck near Chirka village here, leaving four persons dead and three others injured, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Monday night when the victims were on way to Mahoba from Kurara.

A van carrying a wedding party collided head-on with a gravel-laden truck near Chirka village here, leaving four persons dead and three others injured, police said on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Monday night when the victims were on way to Mahoba from Kurara. The injured were taken to the community health centre in Maudaha, where doctors pronounced four persons identified as Mohan (22), Ashish (30), Jitendra (38) and Kamlesh (40) dead. The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination, police said, adding the truck driver has been detained.
