President Murmu Encourages ARTRAC to Boost Indian Army's Operational Readiness
President Droupadi Murmu urged the Army Training Command to enhance Indian Army readiness during a visit to their headquarters. Acknowledging ARTRAC's role in innovation, she emphasized fostering a future-ready force. Despite bad weather limiting her itinerary, President Murmu expressed appreciation for the command's contributions to Atmanirbharta and Viksit Bharat.

President Droupadi Murmu, on her visit to the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) headquarters in Shimla, emphasized the importance of elevating the Indian Army's operational readiness. Her visit marked the conclusion of a five-day stay in Himachal Pradesh, where she was briefed on ARTRAC's evolution and ongoing initiatives.
During meetings with ARTRAC officials, including Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, President Murmu applauded the work of ranks and defense civilians. She expressed admiration for ARTRAC's efforts in integrating technologies like drones, digitization, and Red Teaming concepts to shape a formidable Indian Army.
Though adverse weather restricted her itinerary, Murmu appreciated ARTRAC's significant impact on training and leadership, underscoring its role in achieving Atmanirbharta and Viksit Bharat. Her visit concluded with a sendoff at the Annandale Helipad, attended by state and military officials.
