A confrontation between two men in South Delhi's Kotla Mubarakpur took a violent turn, as police reported an injury following a quarrel over clothes. Authorities responded to a PCR call on Thursday, discovering Sombir Singh, 42, and Sonu, 40, in a heated argument.
The altercation began when ITBP employee Sombir, allegedly intoxicated, approached his regular dhobi, Sonu, regarding his clothes. The verbal clash soon became physical, reportedly resulting in Sonu striking Sombir on the leg with a hockey stick.
Officials took both parties for medical evaluation with no life-threatening injuries, and stable conditions reported. The police are conducting a detailed investigation to determine the facts and responsibilities, having found no substantial evidence to support further allegations.
