RJD MLA Osama Sahab has been accused of land grabbing in Bihar's Siwan district, according to a senior police official. The police conducted a raid at Sahab's residence pursuant to a warrant but found him absent during the operation.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Saran Range, Neelesh Kumar, clarified that the MLA was involved in the alleged extortion and forceful capture of a doctor's land. The situation worsened as further police action is expected following the investigation.
The police officer emphasized a staunch stance against land-related crimes, stating that individuals engaging in such illegal activities, especially against the vulnerable or rightful landowners, would face rigorous legal consequences. A list of potential offenders has already been compiled by the authorities.
