Authorities demolished a local eatery, 'Makhan Dhaba', along the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway, citing its involvement in narcotics distribution.
The eatery, owned by Makhan Singh, a long-time Chanderkoot resident, was allegedly supplying drugs to locals and highway drivers, according to police reports.
This action is part of the 'drug-free Jammu and Kashmir' initiative, emphasized by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Authorities warned that any establishment, licensed or not, involved in illegal activities would face severe consequences.
