Police Superintendent Rajesh Kumar Srivastava emphasized that the drive was essential due to rising complaints from residents about non-compliant meat vendors. An unregulated market near the Bhoomiya Mata temple was among those shut down in response to community grievances.
Officials noted that multiple shops were found breaching food safety regulations, prompting the issuance of legal notices. Actions were executed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita guidelines, affirming regulatory diligence in maintaining public health.
