On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded several significant decisions made by the Union Cabinet, including the approval of expansive railway projects valued at Rs 23,437 crore, along with vital measures for advancing agriculture and industry.
The projects, extending across states such as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, encompass 19 districts. With an expansion of approximately 900 km, these initiatives aim to bestow widespread benefits to regions like Uttar Pradesh by boosting connectivity and logistics efficiency.
Furthermore, the Cabinet approved initiatives to improve agricultural productivity, enhance farmer incomes, and bolster the cotton sector. A new Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) was also introduced, providing crucial credit support amidst global uncertainties. Steering towards a self-reliant India, these efforts reflect a growth-oriented governance model.
