The blaze, which occurred outside the Border Security Force's Punjab Frontier headquarters, sparked fears due to an alleged explosion-like sound heard by locals.

The Jalandhar Police, led by Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, swiftly launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, which materialized as a lone scooter parked on the bustling road. Although a 22-year-old delivery rider, Gurpreet Singh, was identified as the owner, no injuries were reported.
