Amritsar became the focal point of concern late Tuesday night following an explosion near the Army cantonment area in Khasa. This incident happened mere hours after a blast in Jalandhar. Authorities have confirmed no casualties.
Amritsar (Rural) SSP Suhail Mir Qasim reported that a loud noise was heard around 11 PM, leading to immediate action from police and forensic teams. Preliminary findings suggest an explosive device was hurled at a boundary wall.
The area witnessed an influx of investigators as police, forensic experts, and army officials arrived to examine the site and collect evidence. With a second explosion inflicted within hours, the spirit of Punjab's residents remains vigilant as investigations continue.
