In a decisive move, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed DGP C V Anand to establish special teams to expedite the investigation into a POCSO case involving Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's son. The case centers on allegations of sexual harassment of a minor girl.

Despite the complaint being filed on May 8, no action was initially taken, prompting Reddy to demand an explanation from the DGP. It was revealed that police were preoccupied with security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hyderabad visit on May 10.

The accused, Bhageerath, refutes the charges, claiming extortion. As the investigation continues under strict supervision, authorities emphasize the importance of ensuring justice for the alleged victim.
