The first incident involved constable Dilip Telam from the Bastar Fighters unit, who allegedly used his service rifle to commit suicide near the Bijapur police station. The incident occurred on a Sunday evening as per the police.
The second tragedy unfolded in Dhamtari city, where Jageshwar Prasad Thakur, associated with the Chhattisgarh Armed Force, purportedly hung himself. Both incidents are under investigation, with preliminary findings hinting at family disputes as a potential cause.
