A National Commission for Women (NCW) report has revealed widespread sexual harassment and governance failures at Tata Consultancy Services' Nashik unit. According to the report, women employees faced a toxic workplace environment marked by sexual misconduct, bullying, and religious discrimination.
The fact-finding committee, led by NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, documented the absence of compliance with the POSH Act, pointing out serious lapses in employee protection mechanisms.
In light of these findings, the report advises significant corrective measures to enforce workplace safety and compliance, urging authorities to uphold the dignity and security of women employees at TCS Nashik.
