Navi Mumbai Police have apprehended three Iranian nationals suspected of being behind at least ten chain snatchings, seizing gold jewellery valued at Rs 12.75 lakh, officials revealed on Tuesday.
Acting on valuable information, Rabale police devised a strategic plan, successfully laying a trap in Ambivali, Kalyan, where the arrests were made on Sunday, according to an official press statement.
The operation led to the recovery of 85 grams of high-value gold ornaments. An in-depth investigation continues as the authorities probe further into the case.
