Tragedy Strikes Wedding Celebration in Uttar Pradesh

A joyous marriage celebration in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district turned into a harrowing scene late Tuesday night. A pickup vehicle carrying wedding guests from Mirzapur to Sonbhadra overturned, resulting in a tragic accident.

Three men, identified as Rajan Gond, Ajay Gond, and Vinod Gond, all from Madihan, succumbed to their injuries at the district hospital, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Rishabh Runwal.

Nine others suffered injuries, with two critically injured individuals transferred to a hospital in Varanasi for advanced care. The cause of the accident is attributed to the driver losing control near Kathar village.
