In a resounding statement on Thursday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh sternly warned Pakistan of severe consequences if it resorts to terrorism against India again. He made these remarks while addressing a public gathering in Nagaur's Merta town, emphasizing the resolute stance India's military has taken in recent years.
Singh highlighted how operations like Sindoor have sent a powerful message to Pakistan about India's changing response strategy to terrorism. Referencing past incidents, he noted that India's approach is no longer one of suffering silently, but rather of swift and decisive action in the face of provocations.
Beyond security issues, Singh also spoke on India's commitment to women's empowerment and preserving cultural heritage, reflecting on campaigns such as "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" and efforts to ensure women's reservation in the legislature amidst challenges. The event celebrated contributions to the Indian military and the unveiling of Rajput ruler Rao Duda's statue, underscoring a dedication to honoring historical figures.
