Fruit Trader's Tragic Demise: Unveiling the Crime in Latehar
Two individuals have been arrested in Jharkhand for the murder of Sheikh Sadakat Ali, a former CRPF personnel. Ali, who had retired due to illness, was strangled during an attempted robbery involving his fruit consignment. The crime unfolded under a bridge close to National Highway-22.

Authorities have detained two suspects allegedly responsible for the murder of Sheikh Sadakat Ali, a former CRPF member, in Latehar district, Jharkhand. The crime reportedly involved a robbery attempt targeting Ali's vehicle.
Ali, who retired from service in Odisha's Puri district four years earlier due to health reasons, was engaged in the fruit trade. His body was subsequently discovered beneath a bridge near National Highway-22.
The suspects, Ikbal Ansari and Awadh Kumar Sahu, were known to Ali and confessed to the crime, citing robbery as their motive. They now face judicial custody following the lodging of an FIR.
