South Korea says Samsung failed to narrow differences with union in pay talks

​South ‌Korea's labour commissioner ​Park Soo-keun, ‌who mediated between Samsung Electronics and its Korean ‌union, told reporters ‌on Wednesday that the two sides failed ⁠to ​narrow ⁠differences on two or ⁠three issues, without ​elaborating.

The government is open ⁠to restarting negotiations ⁠if ​Samsung and the union make ⁠a request, he ⁠said.
