A 43-year-old property dealer, Sandeep Singh, tragically lost his life when two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire in a busy market area on Wednesday. The incident unfolded around 1 pm in the PGI police station vicinity.
Police responded promptly, transporting the gravely injured Singh to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Singh, originally from Takari village in Jaunpur district, lived in Vrindavan Yojana locality and ran his real estate business from Yadav market in Kalli Paschim.
Authorities are pursuing the culprits, fortified by four police teams that are reviewing CCTV footage and collecting scientific evidence. Singh's wife, Preeti, lodged the formal complaint, triggering legal investigations and a pursuit to apprehend the attackers.
