In his speech at the M P Veerendrakumar Memorial Lecture, Ramesh forecasted critical challenges facing India over the next decade. He stressed that economic growth must balance environmental sustainability, societal inclusion, and the urgent need to create jobs for millions of young job seekers.
Regardless of the party in charge, he advocated for integrating environment-friendly policies with economic expansion to minimize inequality and promote job growth. Moreover, he reflected on his personal relationship with the late Veerendrakumar, lauding his commitment to socialist values and the celebration of India's rich cultural diversity.
