Speaking at an international security forum in Moscow, Ajit Doval, India's National Security Adviser, urged the global community for consistent and firm measures against terrorism, condemning any 'double standards' in the approach. The event was part of wider discussions on current and emerging threats in a rapidly evolving multipolar world.

Doval stressed the urgency of reforming global security institutions to better reflect the Global South's perspectives. Highlighting tensions in West Asia, he underscored the importance of ensuring safe passage for trade through significant waterways like the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea. On the sidelines, Doval conferred with Russian officials about strengthening defense and economic ties, alongside preparing for a future BRICS security advisers' meeting in New Delhi.
