In Nuh district, an intense encounter unfolded as villagers clashed with police officers during an operation to apprehend a notorious criminal. Shahid, also known as Advani, managed to escape in the midst of the chaos, which involved a large crowd from a nearby village interfering with police proceedings.

Authorities reported that residents of Ghuspethi used sticks and rods to confront the police, vandalizing vehicles in the process. The criminal, Shahid, is linked to a high-profile crime network and remains at large. Meanwhile, his accomplice Waris was detained, with law enforcement recovering a firearm in his possession.

Claims surfaced from a villager alleging injury by police gunfire, although this was found unsubstantiated upon medical examination. As police continue their search for the fugitive, they have registered cases against three individuals, including one for making misleading statements against the police force.
