Tree Collapse in UP Kills Three Family Members Amid Rainstorm

A tree fell on a mud house in Purab Sharira village, Uttar Pradesh, amid heavy rain, resulting in the deaths of three family members, including two children. One child was seriously injured and is receiving treatment. Authorities have initiated postmortem procedures on the deceased.

In a tragic accident, three members of a family lost their lives when a tree crashed onto their mud house in Purab Sharira village, Uttar Pradesh, amid inclement weather early Friday. The victims included Maya Devi and her two young sons, aged five and four.

A violent rainstorm in the region led to the accident at around 4 am, trapping Devi, her sons, and her three-year-old daughter inside the house. Despite villagers' swift action to rescue them, the three were found deceased, while the daughter survived with severe injuries.

Local police, represented by Shivank Singh, have dispatched the bodies for autopsy. The injured child remains hospitalized, with authorities continuing to monitor the situation.
