In a ceremony at the Police Headquarters, Delhi Police honored 221 retiring personnel with honorary rank promotions, recognizing their decades of dedicated service. The event was led by Delhi Police Chief Satish Golcha and celebrated as part of the force's ongoing tradition since 2025.

At a notable gathering in the Police Headquarters, the Delhi Police recognized and honored 221 retiring officers with honorary rank promotions. This event, part of a long-standing tradition, aims to acknowledge the invaluable dedication these officers have shown throughout their extensive careers.

Leading the ceremony, Delhi Police Chief Satish Golcha, joined by senior officials, presented honorary promotions covering a range of officer ranks. Specifically, 180 sub-inspectors were promoted to honorary inspectors, 30 assistant sub-inspectors became honorary sub-inspectors, and 11 head constables were elevated to assistant sub-inspectors.

Golcha addressed the officers, lauding their contributions of 35 to 40 years to the force, underscoring that policing is more than just a career—it's a vital part of social responsibility. He encouraged the retirees to remain role models, upholding the esteemed values of the Delhi Police in their communities.
