The Director General of Police, Ajay Singhal, conducted a crucial meeting to strategize on law and order and ensure the smooth conduct of the NEET re-examination in Haryana. Emphasizing the significance of a secure and fair exam process, he underscored the necessity of rigorous checks at exam centers.
High-ranking police officials gathered at the state headquarters to deliberate on maintaining public safety and intensifying the 'Nasha Mukt Haryana' campaign. They discussed proactive measures to prevent drug-related crimes, focusing on effective surveillance and accountability to curb the local drug menace.
To combat cheating during exams, the police chief stressed the need for a robust intelligence network, ready to counter any threats of paper leaks. Simultaneously, the anti-drug initiative aims for increased public awareness and strategic law enforcement coordination to diminish drug trafficking impacts.
Future campaigns will see direct engagement with communities, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, targeting both demand and supply sides of drug misuse. The use of specially trained narcotics detection dogs continues to support efforts in intercepting illegal drug exchanges.
