An electric bus worth Rs 1.13 crore has been generously donated by a Delhi-based healthcare and research firm to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). This initiative is expected to significantly improve the travel experience for the temple's many devotees.

The formal handover of the vehicle took place following prayers at the Srivari temple, where the company's chairperson, Neera Radia, presented the vehicle's documents and keys to TTD Chairman BR Naidu and Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary. The press release noted that Radia's contribution of the Olectra electric bus was specifically for the devotees' benefit.

Accompanied by the donor, TTD officials took a ride on the new bus and commended the company's gesture, highlighting its potential to offer comfortable travel. As the temple is known to be the world's wealthiest Hindu shrine, such donations contribute significantly to maintaining and enhancing the facilities available to visitors.
