The Congress party has launched a scathing attack on the current administration, accusing the 'Pradhan Mantri-Mantri Pradhan jugalbandi' of derailing the hopes of millions of young Indians. Allegations include disrupting education through poor management and corruption, with further claims of academic bias towards those chosen by the RSS.

This criticism came to the fore after a technical glitch postponed CUET-UG 2026 in several centers, affecting university admissions nationwide. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh emphasized the government's incompetence, particularly targeting Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and questioned the use of the Indian armed forces in logistics as a promotional tactic rather than substantive reform.

In response, the National Testing Agency addressed the technical delays, stating corrective actions are ensuring fair examination opportunities. Yet, Congress insists that systemic issues remain, demanding a crackdown on corruption and political interference, painting the government's efforts as inadequate and dominated by public relations concerns.

Rahul Gandhi further criticized Modi's handling of the education system, linking it to broader government inefficacies while highlighting students' grievances amid past examination issues.
