Police in Delhi have successfully apprehended Anuj Choudhari, an alleged member of the notorious Randeep Bhati gang, who had been evading law enforcement for nearly three years. Choudhari, also known as Fighter, was wanted concerning a murder case dating back to 2020.
Choudhari, implicated in over 30 criminal activities such as murder and conspiracy, was intercepted by police following a tip-off about his movements in east Delhi. Officers laid a trap at Ghazipur's Paper Market, where they found him carrying illegal arms. Despite his attempts to evade capture, he was arrested following a brief chase.
Authorities discovered a semi-automatic pistol, live ammunition, and a stolen scooter during his arrest. The scooter had reportedly been stolen from Laxmi Nagar earlier this year. Choudhari had previously been granted bail in a different case in 2023 before he absconded once more.
