Web series on PM Modi on Eros Now faces EC ban due to elections

The Election Commission of India has directed the video-on-demand platform Eros Now to stop streaming of web series on PM Narendra Modi. The poll panel directed to stop the online streaming of the series titled "Modi-Journey of a Common Man" and remove all connected contents till further orders.

Earlier this month, the EC also banned the screening of the Modi biopic during the current poll period, saying any such film that subserves the purpose of any political entity or individual should not be displayed in the electronic media. In a separate order, it had also directed the producers "not to exhibit the film titled 'PM Narendra Modi' till further orders.
