The Odisha government has embarked on a transformative journey with the launch of the Model Village Mission and Mahapurusha Adarsha Grama Yojana (MAGY), intended to infuse urban-level amenities into rural landscapes.

Unveiled by state minister Rabi Narayan Naik, these initiatives aim to convert villages into self-sustaining and self-governing entities, fostering prosperity.
