Pakistan-India exchange fire after ceasefire violation in Akhnoor sector

Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Keri Battal area of Akhnoor sector in Jammu on Saturday. "Indian Army is retaliating strongly to the violation by Pakistan," sources in the Indian Army said. No casualties have been reported so far. Further details awaited.
Earlier in the day, a Special Police Officer (SPO) was injured in shelling by Pakistani troops in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani Rangers had at around 1800 hours initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation by heavy shelling with artillery and firing of small arms along Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur and Kerni sectors. Indian army had retaliated strongly and effectively.
