Delhi: Three held for illegally selling alcohol

Delhi Police on Saturday arrested three people in connection with illegally selling alcohol here. The issue came to light when a police patrolling party discovered a shop in the vicinity illegally selling alcohol to passersby.

Accused have been identified as - Nasin Malik, Ram Chandra and Nisaar Ahmad. "We have arrested three people under Rule 40 of the Delhi Excise Act of 2009. They were found selling alcohol near a shop named 'Jishaan Kaathi Roll and Kebab'," said police in a statement.

Further investigation in the matter is underway. (ANI)
