Mumbai: Driver dies as high-rise scaffolding falls on rickshaw

A man was killed and two othersinjured after scaffolding on the 23rd floor of anunder-construction MHADA building collapsed due to wind on arickshaw passing below, police said Monday

The incident took place on Sunday night in Dharaviarea and the deceased has been identified as rickshaw driverShahadat Sharafat Ali Ansari, while passenger Shahid Ali Khan(35) and a pedestrian Shyamlal Jaiswar (50) were seriouslyinjured

"All three were rushed to hospital where Ansarisuccumbed to injuries. A case under section 304A (causingdeath by negligence) and other relevant sections of the IndianPenal Code has been registered," he added.
