9 Bangladeshis released from jail for deportation

A total of nine Bangladeshis who were in a detention camp in Tezpur CentralJail were released Tuesday for deportation to their country, a senior police official said

These nine persons were among 22 Bangladesh national apprehended from Sonitpur, Marigaon and Dhemaji districts on the charge of illegally entering the country

They were handed over to the Border Police to be deported to the neighboring country from Assam's Karimganjdistrict, Superintendent of Tezpur Central Jail Mrinmoy Dawkatold reporters here.
