Two GHMC staff killed in accident

Two Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation employees died in an accident at a garbage transfer station in the city, the Corporation said Tuesday. The accident occurred when a heavy vehicle (compactor) suddenly moved back, it said in a release.
GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Commissioner Dana Kishore expressed grief over the deaths. Stating that all help would be extended to the bereaved families, the Mayor announced an ex-gratia of Rs two lakh to the kin of the departed employees.
