One-month old elephant calf found dead

The carcass of a one-month-old elephant calf was found on Wednesday in theJagalikadavu elephant corridor in Nilgiris district

Forest department officials recovered the carcass, department sources said

The reason for the death will be known only after the autopsy, they added.
