Two persons were killed and four others injured when an SUV hit them near Amiya village, the police said today.
The incident took place yesterday night when N Gautam (35) and Ajit (25) and four others were returning from Allahabad after paying obeisance at the Kundaura Mahadev Temple, they said.
All of them were rushed to a hospital where Gautam and Ajit died during treatment.
The SUV driver managed to flee from the spot. An FIR has been lodged in this connection.
A probe is on in the matter.
