A Bengaluru-bound passenger has been apprehended by the CISF at the IGI airport here for allegedly carrying an unauthorized satellite phone in his luggage, a senior official said today.

T Sharma, who has an Indian passport, was apprehended by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel late yesterday after the phone was detected in his baggage, he said.

The man was handed over to the Delhi Police as carrying a satellite phone is banned under the law, the official said.
