4 children dead while taking bath in village tank

Four school children allegedly drowned while taking bath in a village tank near here Sunday, police said.

The children aged between 10 and 15 drowned after they got stuck in loose sludge accumulated in the tank in Thalavathi village, they said. Later, the bodies were retrieved, they added.
