After a long wait, Air Tanzania finally launched its flights into Zambia’s capital city Lusaka on February 22 with ministers of transport for both countries gracing the occasion.

Air Tanzania will be flying into Lusaka three times a week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Katotwe Mufaya, Acting Minister of Transport and Communication and his counterpart in Tanzania, Isaac Kamwelwe launched Air Tanzania into Zambia. The airline will also have flights from Livingstone to Arusha to tap into the Mont Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti among other tourist offerings, as reported by Zambia Reports.

On the other hand, Air Tanzania has also re-introduced flights into Zimbabwe’s capital Harare from Dar es Salaam. The flight will be flying into Harare three times a week, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday using an Airbus A220-300.
