UK, Italy seek 'innovative partnerships' to deal with illegal migration

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni agreed to keep working together to deal with illegal migration by developing "innovative partnerships" across Europe and along migration routes, a statement from Sunak's office said on Friday.

Sunak and Meloni spoke on a call earlier in the day.
