Russia says it wouldn't join Swiss Ukraine conference even if asked, RIA reports

Russia has no intention of participating in a Ukraine peace conference in Switzerland, even if it receives an official invitation, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday, according to the state news agency RIA.

The Kremlin said on Feb. 26 that the idea of holding peace talks without Russia was ridiculous, after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he hoped to hold a spring summit in Switzerland to discuss his peace vision with Kyiv's allies.
