India's 18th Lok Sabha elections have seen a significant impact from celebrities, with voters favoring both new and returning star-politicians. First-time MPs, such as Bollywood's Kangana Ranaut and 'Ramayan' star Arun Govil, have entered the political arena alongside seasoned figures like Hema Malini and Manoj Tiwari.

In this election, held from April 19 to June 1, renowned faces from showbiz competed for the 543 seats in the lower house of Parliament. Notably, Kangana Ranaut, an ardent supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, won from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, while Arun Govil triumphed in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Other notable wins include Ravi Kishan in Gorakhpur, Suresh Gopi in Kerala, and Shatrughan Sinha in West Bengal's Asansol constituency.
