Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Shirsat has stirred political waters by asserting that several leaders from the opposing Shiv Sena (UBT) faction will switch allegiances to his party in the coming days.

Shirsat pointed fingers at Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut, holding him accountable for the decline of Uddhav Thackeray’s faction. 'Some important people from the Sena (UBT) will be joining our party before June 10,' he announced.

Reacting to these statements, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sachin Ahir dismissed the claims as a strategy to prevent their MLAs from defecting. He termed the Lok Sabha elections as just a 'trailer,' predicting more movements as Vidhan Sabha polls approach.
