Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday galvanized AAP leaders and workers, urging them to double down on their grassroots initiatives after the party captured merely three of the thirteen envisioned Lok Sabha seats in Punjab.
Mann gathered with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stalwarts—including Lok Sabha candidates and MLAs from Bathinda and Faridkot—for consultations.
Holding a series of meetings since June 4, the day the poll results were revealed, Mann stressed expanded efforts on the ground, lauding the commendable work already displayed during the elections.
Sharing insights from the detailed discussions, Mann noted, “We had in-depth talks on development projects and constituency-specific issues.” The meeting also saw the attendance of key poll candidates Gurmeet Singh Khuddian from Bathinda and Karamjit Singh Anmol from Faridkot, both of whom faced defeats.
This gathering followed a similar meeting on Friday involving AAP leaders from Patiala and Ferozepur.
AAP managed to win in Hoshiarpur, Anandpur Sahib, and Sangrur in the Lok Sabha elections.
