Former Samajwadi Party Leader Commits Suicide Amid Depression Struggles

In a shocking incident, DP Yadav, the former district president of the Samajwadi Party, allegedly ended his life on Saturday in Uttar Pradesh's Majhola area. Family members and police sources indicate that the 55-year-old had been grappling with severe depression.

Yadav's body was discovered in the storeroom of his residence, with a gunshot wound, police officials have confirmed. Senior Superintendent of Police Hemraj Meena stated that the family notified the police after making the grim discovery.

Authorities have sent the body for a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death conclusively. An investigation is currently underway to gather more information surrounding the incident.
