'Lying is in their DNA,' Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini sharply criticized the AAP government in Delhi, claiming Haryana is releasing more water than agreed upon to the national capital. He unequivocally placed the blame for Delhi's water crisis on the AAP, branding their allegations as baseless lies.

Saini assured that Haryana has been supplying 1,049 cusecs of water from the Yamuna to Delhi, far exceeding the agreed-upon quantity. He also pointed to a Supreme Court directive instructing Haryana to allow surplus water from Himachal Pradesh to flow into Delhi. 'People of Delhi are our own; they should not face any problems,' he added.

Meanwhile, Delhi Water Minister Atishi urgently requested 1,050 cusecs of water from the Munak Canal, warning of an impending crisis. AAP's management, or lack thereof, continues to be a point of contention, with Haryana ministers accusing AAP of habitual finger-pointing whenever issues arise.
