Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a host of prominent leaders and Indian citizens in wishing President Droupadi Murmu a long and healthy life on her 66th birthday, celebrated on Thursday.

A deluge of well-wishes poured in through social media platform 'X', with some dignitaries making personal visits to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. In a heartfelt post on X, the president expressed her gratitude for the warm birthday wishes.

Murmu began her day by visiting the Lord Jagannath temple in Delhi, praying for the welfare of all citizens. Her day was marked by several engagements, including a visit to the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, where she spent time with differently-abled children and inaugurated the MITTI cafe, managed by differently-abled individuals.
